Lab12 & Wattson Audio

Verging on psychedelic!

Yesterday one of my best customers came in to pick up a component for home audition. He really wasn’t planning to listen, but the sound from the combo above stopped him in his tracks. He owns a very highly regarded integrated amp that costs more than all three of the above combined, but he’s now thinking of changing over.

Don’t try this at home! Bob’s an experienced Orangutan wrangler.

The sound pouring out of the DeVore O/96 was so captivating, I sat and listened for two hours despite my intention to head home after the component hand-off.

Come hear the magic for yourself. Text/email or phone to set up your private listening session at time convenient for you.

After 15 years doing audio shows and marketing for Audio Note, UK, I took a year off, intending to establish a recording studio dedicated to making natural, minimally processed recordings of acoustic instruments playing jazz, folk, blues, bluegrass and classical music. Somewhere along the way I borrowed a pair of Auditorium 755 speakers and a Shindo pre-amp and power amp from Jonathan Halpern of Tone Imports. Quick as you can say, "Bob's your uncle!", I had become an audio retailer, using Old Forge Studio as a dual purpose space. It's all very exciting and more than a bit crazy . . .
